Fill your garden with rabbits, become instant friends with the farm animals, unlock those cute little farm animal outfits or kill any Sim by rabbits. There are so many cheats and possibilities in The Sims 4 Cottage Living! We’ve gathered the most interesting and useful cheats for you to use.
Become instant Best Friends with the Farm Animals
Cows, Llamas, Chickens, Rabbits, Birds and Foxes are all able to build a friendship with. With a few clicks you can force their friendship with the Sim you have selected.
- Open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C
- Enable cheats by entering testingcheats true
- Shift + click on the animal you want to be friends with and choose Cheat Relationship > Set Max Friendship
You can also activate the cheat this way to enable gardening, just click the option: Gardening Help Enabled. If you want to pick a fight with them you can also lower their relationship.
Spawn Bunnies/Rabbits
Trouble finding bunnies in Henford-on-Bagley? With this trick you can spawn as many bunnies and rabbits as you want.
- Open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C
- Enable cheats by entering testingcheats true
- Now Shift + click on the ground where you want the bunny tot pop-up and choose Create Animal > Create Rabbit.
There’s no limit on how many fluffy bunnies you can spawn, so go nuts! Do you want a particular bunny?
Spawn Different Colored Bunnies
You can get bunnies in a lot of different colors and patterns. Simply place a Wild Rabbit Home (you can unlock this if you shift + click an animal to unlock animal homes).
- Shift + click on the Wild Rabbit Home and choose Create Rabbit in Home (Debug)
This will spawn a different bunny every time you use it. You can gather multiple bunnies in one wild rabbit home, but there is a limit of five per home.
Create (special) Chickens, Chicks, Roosters and Eggs
Do you want a golden chicken to help out in the garden? Or do you want to create an army of evil chickens that can burn houses to the ground? We’ve gathered all the interesting cheats for you to use. First you need to enable the cheats for the other cheats to work:
- Open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C
- Enable cheats by entering testingcheats true

Spawn Chickens without placing a Chicken Coop
If you want to risk your chickens’ lives and place them without a safe shelter, you can! Choose between a rooster, chicken or even a cute baby chick.
- Shift + click on the ground where you want the chicken tot pop-up and choose Create Animal > Create Chicken/Rooster/Chick.
Now you can own as many chickens as you want without placing any chicken coops.
Get Evil and Golden Chickens
If you want instant evil and golden chickens, you do need a chicken coop to create them.
- Shift + click on the chicken coop and choose Create Hen in Coop (Debug).
There’s a moderate chance that this will generate an evil or a golden chicken.
Place any Eggs in the Chicken Coop
Do you want a golden chick to hatch from a golden egg? You can create any egg by placing a chicken coop and follow the steps below.
- Now shift + click on the chicken coop and choose Create Egg.
You can choose between a normal egg or a hatchable egg. If you choose a hatchable obsidian or golden egg, you can hatch special chickens.
Get All Animal Clothing in your Inventory
You can find, buy or trade all kinds of animal clothing in Cottage Living, with this cheat you can get all animal clothes for Cows, Llamas, Chickens, Rabbits, Birds and Foxes in your inventory.
- Open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C
- Enable cheats by entering testingcheats true
- Now click on any of these animals and choose Get all Animal Clothes (Debug)
If you only want individual parts of the farm animal clothing you can shift + click any animal and choose the option: Buy Animal Clothing. You can now select the clothing piece that you’re looking for.
Kill any Sim by a Vicious Killer Rabbit
Let’s make the welcome wagon a bit more interesting. Kill any Sim by a bunny attack by following these steps:
- Open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C
- Enable cheats by entering testingcheats true
- Now shift + click on the Sim you want to kill and choose Kill > Be Slain by a Vicious Killer Rabbit.
This will trigger the animation that the Sim is being killed by a ‘cute’ little bunny. You can also choose to instantly make your Sim a ghost that was killed by a rabbit or chicken with the cheats below.

Cross-Stitch Cheats
The Sims 4 Cottage Living will include one skill to unlock; cross-stitching. Max out your skill level, unlock every cross-stitch pattern or create all patterns in your inventory. With the cheat below you can max out the cross-stich skill.

You can also unlock every available pattern with the Make It Sew Cross-Stitch Kit. Place this item to perform these steps.
- Open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C
- Enable cheats by entering testingcheats true
- Now shift + click on the Make It Sew Cross-Stitch Kit and choose Unlock All Locked Patterns or choose Create All Patterns In Inventory.
This will unlock/get you all the patterns and sizes.
Cottage Living Trait Cheats
Cottage Living comes with 1 reward trait and 2 personality traits. If you want to use the cheats for the personality traits

Unlock all Recipes and get all Animal Treats
Want a rainbow cow? Or maybe an orange llama? you can unlock all recipes or get all treats from the fridge.
- Open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C
- Enable cheats by entering testingcheats true
- Now shift + click on the fridge and choose Animal Treat Cheats.
You can choose to unlock recipes, get all the treats in your inventory or even create all ingredients that your Sim will need to make the treats.
Activate the Finchwick Fair
We want the Finchwick Fair and we want it now! Tired of waiting for Saturday to come by? With the following cheats you can start any edition of the Finchwick Fair instantly. Make sure you are at the Finchwick Square. These cheats require a mod to work.

The All Cheats Mod
These cheats are very useful but sadly this requires a mod to use them. You can activate this simple mod within a few minutes. A big thanks to TwistedMexican for finding most cheats and creating the mod!
How to install
Step 1 – Download the Tmex-AllCheats.ts4script (found on the bottom of the page)
Step 2 – Place it in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
Step 3 – Enable mods in you game options (Gameplay options > Other, and check both the “Enable Mods” and ” Enable Script Mods” options)
Step 4 – Restart your game (If the mod is loaded properly a popup will confirm it was loaded.)
Step 5 – You can now use every cheat for the Finchwick Fair!
