Charisma Skill in The Sims 4

Best Career Choices: Athlete, Business, Culinary (Mixologist), Entertainer (Comedian), Painter (Patron of the Arts), Secret Agent, Tech Guru (Start Up Entrepreneur), Writer (Journalist)
The Charisma Skill is way more fun to level up in The Sims 4 then in the older Sim games. You can actually level up by talking to other Sim. You don’t need any objects to learn this skill but a mirror is recommended.
When you level up in the Charisma Skill you will unlock new interactions like; New ways to introduce yourself to other Sim, You can ask other Sim for a loan or call your boss to negotiate about a promotion.
By reaching level 10 with the Charisma Skill you will earn the Achievement: Smooth Talker
Level up your Charisma Skill
There are 4 ways to level up your Charisma Skill:
- Interact with other Sims
Talk to other Sims and use interactions on them. - Using the Mirror
Your Sims can use different interactions in the mirror to level up: Practice Speech, Practice Pick-up Lines (Unlocks at level 3 and you need to be Flirty or Confident) and Practice Storytelling (Unlocks at level 5). - Read a book about the Charisma Skill
You can buy 3 volumes of Charisma books at a Bookcase or at the Computer. - Start a Social Network
After you reach level 5 you have the option to start a social network. Any interaction on your social media network will boost your Charisma skill.
Become Confident
Being Confident doesn’t help you leveling the skill faster but it does help to boost the success rate of your interactions. You can use the option Psych Self Up on the Mirror to give your Sim a 3 hour +1 Confident moodlet. You can also choose to Brush your teeth by the sink to give your Sim a 4 hour +1 Confident moodlet.
Create the perfect room to become Confident
If you want to socialize with other Sim at your house, it’s good to decorate a room with objects that gives off a Confident aura. This improves the success rate of most interactions. You can do this by placing Your Name in Lights Showtime Award Plumbob Lamp. You can also give your room this aura with placing collections in it. This will work with the Mounted Fish Collection and the Dead Alien Collection.
Different introduction types
In The Sims 4 you have different options to introduce yourself to other Sims. They will each boost a different relationship.
- Friendly introduction
Gives a slight friendship boost with this Sim. - Funny introduction
Gives a slight friendship boost with this Sim. - Rude introduction
Lowers the friendship. - Cheerful Introduction (Charisma Level 4)
Gives a friendship boost with this Sim. - Flirty Introduction (Charisma Level 5)
Gives a romance boost with this Sim. - Enchanting Introduction (Charisma Level 8)
This will boost friendship and romance at the same time. Best choice for an introduction.
Making money with the Charisma Skill
You can’t make money with this skill but there is a option you can ask for a loan from other Sim, you can choose not to pay them back.

Cheat – Max Charisma Skill
There is also a cheat to max your Sims Charisma Skill. Use the Cheat Console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C. Input the cheat code below to max out your skill level. If you don’t want to max your skill level you can change the number 10 with the preferred skill level from 1 to 9.
