Mixology Skill in The Sims 4

Mixology is a skill of crafting drinks formally known in previous The Sims games as bartending. You only need an bar to learn and practice this skill or start with reading a mixology book. If you don’t have a bar at home just go to the nightclub or lounge to practice the Mixology skill. At first your Sim can only make 3 different drinks.

Mixology skill is used in the Culinary career before you decide if you want to be a Chef or a Mixologist. Make sure you develop your skills when you can when you go out to a nightclub or a lounge when you don’t have a bar at home. The easiest way is that you can tend a bar so other Sims can ask you to make a drink for them. Unfortunately your Sims will not get paid to tend a bar or making drinks. When you level in the Mixology skill your Sims will learn to make new type of drinks.

There is a total of 45 drinks available at the moment in The Sims 4, there are some unlockable drinks in different career path’s, emotions, aspirations or even bonus content from The Sims 4 Digital Deluxe Edition.

Max Mixology Skill – Cheat

Of course there is also a cheat to max your Sims Mixology Skill. Use the Cheat Console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C. Input the cheat code testingcheats true first. Use this cheat to max out your skill level. If you don’t want to max your skill level you can change the number 10 with the preferred skill level from 1 to 9.
