The Sims 4 Mod: University

Get your Sims experience university life!

University! Time of exams, great friendships, wild parties, sleepless nights…Get your Sims ready for some academic fun with this new mod!

Your Sims will have to choose between three graduation courses: Physical Education, Fine Arts and Music, each one with their own set of goals, which your Sims has to fulfill in order to graduate from university.

The mod adds three venues: Physical Education building, Fine Arts Building and Music Building, which will act as an university campus. But that’s not all: the mod features also a new object, the podium (yes, that one from Sims 3 University Life!) and also two new interactions: streaking and asking questions.

But to help your Sims make the grade, be sure you let them study hard: the mod comes with a challenging grade system which will require lots of efforts from your Sims, but If they’ll pass the major, they will start from level 4 of the career their major allows!

How will your Sims life at University look like?

Your Sims life at University will start with a ‘First Day’ where you get to meet your mates and build new friendships.

The first day will be followed by activity days, lecture days,presentation days and, finally, by the glorious graduation day!

But let’s have a closer look to what those days will look like;

Activity Days – These are the days where your sims do things that train them for the real world: Working out for Physical Education, painting
and woodworking for Fine Arts, and playing instruments for Music! These take place on Monday and Wednesday.

Lecture Days – These are the days where your sims learn from their hopefully awesome professor! Goals for these day involve Watching the Lecture
and Asking Questions. These take place on Tuesday and Thursday.

Presentation Day – This is the day where your sim gives a presentation to their class! Note: If your sim doesn’t study for the presentation day,
he or she will lose a lot of performance, likewise, if your sim studies before it, they’ll get a huge boost to their grade!

Special Days

Graduation Day – This is the last day, say your goodbyes to your friends and enemies on this day. After this your sim gets their
qualifications to start at level 4 of their dream job! This takes place on Day 20 of your sims’ university major.

Other than attending lectures and completing tasks, your Sims have to study from their books, or they will get worse and worse grades.

To do so, buy the University Supplies from the catalog and get your Sims ready to have sleepless nights in front of their books, because studying requires around four hours to complete, just like in real life…By the way, nobody ever said that graduating from university was easy, right?

Lots requirements

If you want to build your own University Campus, be sure to follow this requirements:

Requirements for all majors
A podium and a classroom.
Bathroom for your sims bladders!
A cafeteria

Requirements for Physical Education Building
At least 9 workout equipment and a swimming pool

Requirements for Music Building
At least 11 instruments

Requirements for Fine Arts Building
At least 11 easels, preferably only one woodworking table as sims currently don’t use them autonomously.
Art to view and critique

If you want to download the lots from the Gallery instead, remember that sometimes the game doesn’t automatically register it to the career events system. To solve this, place your lot and set it to something random and exit build mode. Then enetr build mod again and set it to the correct category. It is stronlgy recommended to save your game before you send your Sims to university for the first time, just to be safe in case something happens. The mod developer also suggest to disable aging while your Sims attends college for better gameplay purposes.

How to install the mod

For those who don’t have turbo careers
If you have a previous Zerbu- Venue List mod, remove it and install in the modified Zerbu – Venue List Mod. Install the rest of the files
normally. DO NOT UNZIP THE ZIP INSIDE THE ZIP.

For those with Turbo Careers, download the latest version that separates career overrides and the main mod. Remove Zerbu – Turbo Careers Mod
Pack – Career Overrides and instead install Modified Zerbu – Turbo Careers Mod Pack – Career Overrides instead. If you have a previous Zerbu-
Venue List mod, remove it and install the modified Zerbu – Venue List Mod. Install the rest of the files normally. DO NOT UNZIP THE ZIP INSIDE THE ZIP.
