Unlock all knitted clothing, get a new trait and level up your knitting skill without lifting a finger.
We’ve gathered useful cheats from The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting. These cheats have all been tested and they are safe to use. You can find much more cheats from other packs on our main cheat code page.
Tip: Open up the Cheat Console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C.
Level up your Knitting Skill
Input the cheat code testingcheats true first before using the cheat below. This cheat can be used to max out your skill level. If you don’t want to max your skill level you can change the number 10 with the preferred skill level from 1 to 9.

Unlock all Knitted Clothing in Create A Sim
To unlock all knitted clothing in CAS you’ll have to enter the cheat cas.unlockbytag SP17 for each age group. This cheat needs to be entered in Create a Sim or it will not work. Refresh the UI after entering the cheat by clicking on another clothing category.

Unlock all Craftables in Build Buy Mode
This cheat is well known by a lot of Sims players and it can also unlock all the knitted craftables and all of their colors.

Nifty Knitting Trait Cheat
There’s a new trait that you can get from completing the Lady/Lord of the Knits.

| traits.equip_trait trait_SacredKnittingKnowledge | Sacred Knitting Knowledge Sims with this trait gain enhanced benefits to teaching other Sims how to knit. Sims are also immune to the foul magic of the Sweater Curse, and can dispel afflicted Sims from its snarly grasp. Lastly, Sims have the ability to craft unique knitted items, like a very special companion from a strange land, or The Forbidden Sweater which, honestly, is forbidden for a reason… |
Unlock all Knitting patterns
To unlock all patterns simply enter both cheats below in the cheat console of your game.
