SimGuruDuke over at Twitter announced that the Legacy Update that was supposed to be released this month has been postponed for a later date.
A number of you have asked about the legacy edition. We have decided to postpone the legacy update for TS4 for now. All players will be able to buy and enjoy the Island Living Expansion Pack when it launches June 21.

What this means is that Simmers with older MAC systems or 32-bit Windows systems will be able to play The Sims 4 Island Living when it releases on June 21st, 2019! This is great news for Simmers who didn’t know if they would be able to play the pack along with other Simmers.
We will keep you updated on when the Legacy Update will be released, but I am very happy for all Simmers being able to play the brand new pack when it releases at the end of the month.
