The Sims since its first release back in 2000 has never stopped trying to bring diversity to the game to make our games feel richer. Since the Gender Customization Update which was released back in June 2016, The Sims 4 has become one of the most diverse games since The Sims won’t stop making sure anyone represented in the game.
Many simmers have been asking the SimGuru’s if Sims with disabilities will ever be added to the game and the team has been extremely interested with representing disabilities, even though its a very sensitive topic for a very bubbly game. SimGuruGrant has shared so many tweets talking about adding this feature to the game. Here are the tweets so far on disabled Sims being added:

We haven't been able to make any real progress on it, but I was talking to some Simmers who use wheelchairs a month or so ago and they helped us solve some design challenges. I'd be very very cool to do. https://t.co/McZOTU8WAI

I would want to have wheelchairs to reflect the stories of differently abled people. But, it could also work with elders and others. https://t.co/z3CnfOCxNy

The Sims team are very wonderful and hopefully this feature will be added by the next three years since The Sims 4 has been confirmed to have another three years of content being made.
