It’s a brand new week and you know what that means, more news on The Sims 4 Seasons!
Well, this is the Flower Bunny. Maybe FB will make an appearance on stream tomorrow.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 15, 2018
Yes. I just didn't want to take landscape shots in that winter look. Because then it is just you squinting at a building in gray cloudy snow.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 15, 2018
What is with the world?! Why are snownadoes real things.
To be fair, I'm trying to terrify @SimGuruMorgan with stories of earthquakes and volcanoes.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 15, 2018
Seasons
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 15, 2018
Tomorrow, during #TheSims4Seasons stream, @SimguruRad and @SimGuruJill have promised me that at least one of them will read you a special poem in a whimsical voice.
Prepare yourselves!
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 15, 2018
For the stream we will only be showing Seasons. Everything you will see is in seasons. That way it isn't confusing what you get with the pack.
I'll keep you updated after the stream with a few other San Myshuno shots.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 14, 2018
Okay everyone. @SimGuruMorgan snuck onto twitter this evening. She may post a snowy San Myshuno in the next day or so with enough encouragement.
Also, she was a super sims fan before joining the team. So maybe ask her obscure Sims lore questions to test her cred. ?
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 14, 2018
Yep. 1, 2, and 4 week seasons.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 13, 2018
It isn't an active career. Tomorrow on the live stream we will play through it a bit so you can see it in action.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 13, 2018
Hi @mattgiombetti There are no mermaids in Seasons. But there will be other interesting characters like Father Winter, the Flower Bunny, and a Scarecrow.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 13, 2018
I'm doing a dry run tomorrow. I'll get these questions in.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 13, 2018
If you move Father Winter into your house you can alter his clothing. Just not while he is on the job.
He does hand out gifts to your Sims.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
You would have to place in the new furniture we added in this pack. We didn't do a decor update to all the pre-placed homes.
But there will be fantastic creations on the gallery by all the community very shortly. So download some houses from some of your favorite creators.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
Created holidays are stored in the save. When you create one it will repeat each year until you delete it.
If you switch saves you will only have the default holidays until you create more.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
5
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
Yes. All the Sims in that world will have the holiday.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
We don't have traditions that will let you single out the mother or the father. You could still create a gift giving holiday and just play to only giving gifts to a parent.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
That is already in the game.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
We did set it up as a tradition. So you can add it to any custom holiday you build.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
Stock up on hot cocoa.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
I'm here to make you feel warm and fuzzy all the way until launch.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
Yep.
I think some people at EA Play may have caught some of it. But we have a long livestream coming up that should cover everything.— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
You do choose to have a day off work and school together.
I'm tired of all these kids getting all these summer breaks without me. *Shakes Grandpa Cane*

The calendar is your best bet. But, the weather can be unpredictable. And different worlds have different rules. Like Selvadorada being too warm for snow.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
@SimGuruEmory is all things Calendar.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
I'll add this to the list of things to talk about in the live stream
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
There are icicle decorations for the house.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 10, 2018
This is a default basegame house. You can always move into it.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018
Yep. Kids stop by your house. If you have the candy bowl from spooky stuff they can take candy from there. If you dont have spooky stuff they knock on your door and you have to trick or treat them.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018
Yes, if it's freezing out fishing isn't available. Fishes need some time to warm up ?
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 13, 2018
Since the calendar is heavily tied to seasons, weather, & holidays, it's going to be available only with Seasons. Sorry if that's disappointing 🙁
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 13, 2018
There's a handy dandy weather controller that you can buy from build mode. Upgrade it and you'll be able to control the seasons as well!
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 12, 2018
These were made by our talented UX / UI artist, Kim! I can check with her when I get back.
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 10, 2018
The calendar doesn't show upcoming festivals, as those are surprises when you live in San Myshuno!
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 12, 2018
If you don't have a thermostat it'll be either cool or warm inside, but won't be lethal. Still might not be comfy though, so your sim might appreciate some heating / cooling tech 🙂
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 12, 2018
Sims will autoage up within 24 hours after the birthday on the calendar. We wanted to give players the full day to plan and celebrate
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 10, 2018
Yes. It isn’t fun to make you guys worry about 71 versus 73. And do we use Celsius? Fahrenheit? We focus on the gameplay and their effects. https://t.co/nRlKdDBnre
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 10, 2018
We approximate the temps. https://t.co/rx1TJJZjvK
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 10, 2018
They’ll work ?
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 10, 2018
All good things are worth the wait. https://t.co/8APrvTqUqb
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 10, 2018
Everything in the trailer is in Seasons.
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 11, 2018
You can extend. https://t.co/1sJJ60V1Oc
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 11, 2018
No
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 11, 2018
Give Gift is based on items in your inventory.
— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 11, 2018
Father Winter gives a variety of gifts.
