SimGuruLegacy has announced over at their Twitter page that a brand new update for The Sims 4 on PlayStation will be released very soon.
Xbox One Simmers, you too will get the new update we are lovingly calling 1.08 at the same time as PlayStation 4 owners – 10am Pacific / 17:00 UTC on Thursday, 26th July.

The update was set to release today at 10am PST but sadly the team had to reschedule the date to another time.
Sorry to say, we have a change of plans. Update 1.08 will not be available tomorrow for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after all. We will be rescheduling this release and we'll have more information soon.

They are releasing the update to fix the crashing problem that Simmers are facing when they enter their My Library or when they are trying to save creations to The Library.
As more news is released on when the update is going live I would advise all console players to follow SimGuruLegacy since they are really good at keeping players up to date on the next update for console players.
