SimGuruKate over at Twitter announced that there will be no content being released for Septemeber but starting next month brand new free content will be released!
Hello SimFam! Just a quick update that we will not be releasing a patch/update this month as we are focused on some really fun free stuff for October (assuming no last minute issues arise) and a future release for this calendar year. Stay tuned…

She also included in a statement that there’s going to be some other new content coming this year. She didn’t give much detail but it seems to be linking to either an Expansion Pack, Game Pack or a Stuff Pack.
With all this news I bet there will be a ton of speculations arising. As more news is released we will keep you updated.
