Collecting Frogs in The Sims 4
There are a total of 25 Frogs to collect. They are divided in 5 pattern groups (plain, striped, spotted, surf and whirl) and 5 main colors (leaf, dirt, eggplant, heart and sunflower). Placing Frogs as decor gives a +3 Environment in the room.
How to collect all Frogs
Frogs can be found by searching dead logs, small ponds and wells. You can also obtain them by breeding them. If your Sim has the Collector Reward Trait (obtained by selecting Nature as Aspiration) can make it very helpful collecting the Frogs. If your Sim has that trait you can send your Sim to the park and Search for Frogs in the ponds.
How to breed Frogs
In The Sims 4 there is an option to breed your collected Frogs. You can create Frogs you have not yet collected.
- Put two or more frogs in your Sims inventory
- Click on the Frog and select ‘Breed’
- Select a partner for the Frog
A Frog will now appear in your Sims inventory. However the outcome of the breeding is not guaranteed. It can still be the same frog as the female of male frog you where breeding. You can try breeding again after 4 hours.
How to breed specific Frogs
- Look up the Frog you are missing from your collection in the list below.
- Combine two Frogs from each Breed Group.
