Today I asked Simmers what they thought of the brand new pack for The Sims 4 over at my Twitter account. I was so surprised to see so many Simmers being excited about the new pack and also expressing positive reactions and feelings about the pack too.

Here is what I think about the pack, “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MERMAIDS”! Well lets just say I am super excited for this pack since I have been waiting for this type of pack since The Sims 4 was first released back in 2014.
But lets not talk about my thoughts on the pack since we will be here all day and we really don’t want a long article do we. Here is what the community had to say about the pack:
It does look awesome! I just hope it lives up to expectations and that it includes plenty of activities for ALL ages of Sims!

I'm not going to lie, I really wanted University, but after reading the description for Island Living, I'm living for it. Haha! It seems that a lot of the things that the community has been asking for will be added with this pack. I cannot wait to check out the new careers!

Seems like mermaids is gonna be tricky it’s gonna be a partial life state probably but not in the way most think. I’m sure there will be abilities ( like seductiveness and hallucinations and stuff ) but I mean they can only transform in water right ? I can’t wait

I had a mix feeling whether it was university or this but I'm looking forward to whatever is coming ? wish people didn't get there hopes up when it comes to leaks cos then they'd be disappointed when the truth comes out on official release

Absolutely excited for it. I loved Island Paradise in the Sims 3, so I know for sure I’ll like this one as well! I’m looking forward to the island as well as the new wardrobe. I can’t wait to see what kind of new careers we get too!

I did not expect it tbh Everyone was talking about university as an expansion pack and then we just got leaks and speculations for island paradise and it’s just so crazy I mean I could’ve never guessed if I had to choose But I am really excited it an amazing idea and I can’t wait

All the activities! Also, plumbob over the mermaid – looks like they are a playable lifestate in this pack right? Usually I focus on b&b but they made vampires so fun, I hope they’ve made mermaids that in depth
