3 hints about a Pets Expansion for The Sims 4
The Sims is well known for putting hints throughout the internet or in the game. The Sims Community pointed out 2 hints a few days ago and The Sims just released a blog about the Doctor career with a dog thought balloon. This can be a third hint.
The Sims 4 Pets Expansion is maybe the next expansion pack in-line to be released for The Sims 4!
First hint
The first hint can be found in a objects description from the Appreciably Average Digital Camera in the expansion pack The Sims 4 Get to Work.
Second hint
The official Sims facebook page from Germany asked the simmers what they would like like to see to create a good pet expansion.
Third hint
The third hint was posted today in The Sims official blog post in a screenshot.

Omg!! I can’t wait for a Pets expansion!! I really do hope it is the next expansion for the Sims 4 it will be so fun… Hopefully they add some really different cool pets!! 😀
Truthfully, I would’ve much preferred a Seasons expansion next. I always feel like the Sims is naked without seasons. Gives the game so much more life to it haha
Ooo I hear ya. While I’m well excited for any kind of expansion tbh, I’ve been dying to get seasons in to the game. Brings a lot of depth to the game and the world!
Well everything is possible but when I read the description of the camera myself while exploring the features of the new expantion pack… I could not help myself of having the same thought trail you are having… “Could this be a silent hint that they are going to pop up with an animal expantion next? Hmmmmm… So yeah it would be a possible suggestion. Even more so I came across indeed the question what would we like on the next expantion and if it were to be animals, what would we like to see… I suggested even to make two different ones, one with just normal pets and the other with all farm animals like sheep, cow, horses, goats, chickens and such… They could even do that…….. I will just wait and see 😛
Well if pets is the hint through out the game it means it will be next I’m excited for it I’m looking forward to it and I wonder what it will be after pets.i hope they put ether seasons or generations as the next hint in one of the other Eps or Gps
If pets is next I would really like to see monkeys added to the pet list.
I hope not. I couldn’t care less about having a pet. Then again, it’d be a good way to help me save money…
I’d love to have pets in the Sims! And could not care less about seasons.
I wish they add the Vet career and also as they said farms 😀 Seasons can’t be forgotten.
I want someting like livin’ large or generations next that expands and refibes the basic play and hopefully brings back toddlers.
I personally have been simming since the very first sims and i would like to see seasons, and some hot tubs for my romantic sims. Also and this is just one of my personal favorites….the genie lamp..Pets…not so crazy about that..But adding superstar careers would be nice, like singing careers for one. And supernatural would be great to include also.
Wow! This is awesomeeee!!!! I’ve always wondered if they would add pets any time soon, and if they did, would you be able to shape the body features like you can with the humans? Would you be able to be your animal? Would there be an option to be a runaway dog(a stray), and live your life as you wander the city? Would there be horses, cows, goats, farm animals, etc. or maybe even wild animals such as bears, coyotes or wolves? I just can’t wait for Sims 4 Pets to release, I know it’s coming. It’s happened a couple times before and it’s sure to happen again!!
I would love to see a pets expansion and i know how they did cats, dogs, and horses in the sims 3, but what if in the sims 4 it could be similar but with livestock animals too. i think that would be amazing because i have a lot of livestock… i was looking back into the sims 3 expansion pack, and all the horse competitions were English riding. i ride western and not to be mean but i think western riding isn’t given enough credit. anyway i think in the sims 4 pets expansion pack there should be horse show arenas, and rodeos for horses and cows, livestock show for goats, sheep, chickens, cows, etc. and definitely dog shows. although i am not a cat person, i wouldn’t want them left out either because i know there are cat people out there. This is probably a little much and if i doesn’t happen, i can see why do to the amount of time the creators would have to put into it and the testing for bugs and so on. It’d be AMAZING!!
I Would love to see city life back like in Sims 2where u could rent the apt but it was big enough for a family… bringing pets back but w with more animals even uncontrollable animals but livestock… having toddlers back i want the most, but with more options like having double strollers or triple having different stages ex newborn infant toddler young child than school age etc more toys being able to go on steps learn to swim etc
HAving what we already had in the last game isn’t very exciting it’s a waste of no ey just a repeat of what we had with a new name

I would love to see a pets expansion pack, but I would also like one like the generations one. I don’t like not having the toddler stage; it feels like a big part is missing. I would love to see more baby items too, like a play pen and a double stroller for twins and a changing table. If they do end up making a pets expansion pack (well, I’m sure they will) I would like to see some different animals. As others have noted, a couple farm animals would be neat, like a cow that you could milk or chickens that you could collect eggs from. But I would really love to see a lot of different cat and dog breeds with accessories.
I think pets would be a cool expansion, but I would prefer a Seasons expansion to come first. It makes the entire game feel much more real.

If this will not be the next expansion pack, then at least they will do it, because this is necessary for every The Sims game, it started from the first game, continued in the second and the third, so why wouldn’t they make it for the fourth time?
It would be really cool to see the pets’s emotions! And yeah, we still need to control them!!!

id love to see sessons as a digital update tbh. its a great inclusion witch brings more life and realizim to the game, and just love having pets for my sims, id love to bring home my lonly single dr to her loving cats or dog 🙂 having emotions for them would also add to them insomantly,
I really hope pets are next I want dogs HORSES maybe a few wild animals like raccoons. Cats are ok but I wouldn’t stress if they are not added personally I’m no cat person. I’ve already built 2 ranches each with 2 paddocks for horses. My fingers are crossed!
Personally I would have loved to see a supernatural expansion pack next, but then again I wouldn’t complain with anything they decide to provide for us next. The base game was really boring and restricting. The expansion helped a lot with making the game more exciting, especially at giving us an official inside look at the work place. I’ve always wondered what had happened behind those dark buildings. Either way being the supernatural enthusiast that I am I really, really hope to see a more defined dragon whether it be in the pets expansion or later added by a magical one. There have been dragons found in the sims one and three, but they haven’t been that interactive. I would like to see one that you can raise from an egg, care for, give baths to, play with, can have babies of their own, control, and even being able to set a few people’s hair on fire would really spike my interest. I don’t know what they create, but I can only hope.
I think that pets should’ve come with the base game personally, so I really hope the next pack is pets. Yes, they do get a bit annoying but you can choose not to have them. I really hope to see in this pack, more animals you can have as pets. I absolutely love dogs and horses. But having 3 base animals can get a little boring. And more animal breeds would be amazing! There were a lot of dog breeds that you could’ve have. I really really hope the next one is pets!!!

Personally I think that if they can create pets, and all the interactions that they would require, surely they can create a basic life stage staple: toddlers. If they make pets ahead of toddlers, they lose credibility. After that, I hope it’s Seasons!
I would rather have a seasons expansion…. In the Sims 3, I thought it was the best expansion ever! I played it more often since I bought it. Also, I hope they have cats in the pets expansion, it seems like EA is leaning more towards dogs than just all pets in general. I want them to come out with an expansion with washers and dryers too… And home phones… AND TODDLERS!
I want a pet expansion so bad!!!! To me, it’s a necessity in any Sims game…I really hope they come out with a pet expansion soon! It’d be so sweet if they added a bigger variety of pets and also added more wildlife like deer, bears, raccoons etc.
Another hint is when i did a police report in the detective career the person said their cat got stuck in the tree

There are no news about this, we only have to hope that the Sims Team is considering to develop it
